Scott Drake’s performance under-ride traction bars for 67-70 Mustangs are modeled after the traction bars that were originally available in the ’60s to eliminate axle wrap and wheel hop. They feature cast ends and super strong .187 wall tubing that is twice the thickness of the competition. Axle and frame brackets are fabricated from extra thick steel plate for maximum strength. Each kit is finished in a durable semi-gloss black powder coating for a lasting show quality appearance. Rubber bushings, alignment spacers, and zinc plated grade 8 hardware are included. Sold as a pair. Note: will only fit original 1967-1970 Ford 8″ and 9″ rear ends. Many later 9″ rear ends have larger axle tubes that have been retrofitted into these cars. Welding is required for frame bracket installation.
