Converts the Pro-Mag’s coil signal into a 12 volt square wave signal.
The output signal that is used to trigger magnetos differs from a conventional electronic ignition system. The Tach convertor is a compact device that converts the Pro-Mag’s coil signal into a 12 volt square wave signal, so common tachometers designed for electronic ignitions can be used with the Pro-Mag. The convertor is less than three inches in length and its circuits are encased in epoxy for water and vibration resistance.
