Hurst Competition/Plus installation kits are custom designed to fit directly into your vehicles, with the least possible modifications, and to give you firm positive shifts every time. This kit comes with everything necessary (shifter not included) to install your Hurst Competition/Plus shifter in your car. The Muncie (452, 453) transmissions can be identified by the fact they use a bolt to secure the shift arm to the shift fork on the transmission. Note: 1963-1968 Muncie (451) transmissions use a stud (with a nut) coming off the shift fork of the transmission to secure the shift arm to the transmission and will require a different installation kit then this one.
