This installation kit fits the following vehicles with a Muncie (451) 4-speed transmission:

Hurst Competition/Plus installation kits are custom designed to fit directly into your vehicles, with the least possible modifications, and to give you firm positive shifts every time. This kit comes with everything necessary (shifter not included) to install your Hurst Competition/Plus shifter in your car. The Muncie (451) transmission can be identified by the fact they have a stud on the shift forks that secures the shift arm on the transmission with a nut. Note: 1969-1974 Muncie (452, 453) transmissions use a bolt to secure the shift arm to the shift fork of the transmission and the (452, 453) Muncie transmissions will require a different installation kit then this one.
